What are your thoughts?
What are your discoveries, as far as the strange elements (both pleasing and displeasing) inherent in writing a story in collaboration with so many other writers?
What do you like about the story so far?
What do you dislike?
Let's get some conversation going!
Oh yeah, and make sure you remember to share the link to the story on Twitter, facebook, writing forums, and your blog; let's get as many writers pitching in as we can!
The end.

The beginning...
It seems that no one ever likes to be the first to comment on a discussion thread, so I'll be the first to comment:
ReplyDelete"I think it's great so far!"
Of course, I just now posted the first three sentences...
Oops, sorry for the spelling errors...the ole eyes were tired.
ReplyDeleteNo worries.
ReplyDeleteThe host of the NPR show I was interviewed on this morning asked about The Storyteller; it was fun to talk about it a little bit!
Hmmm... I didn't realize this comment section was available during the Story-Teller project. I guess that proves that I scanned any instructions, rather than making sure I understood everything.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I did understand was the rule about 3 (count them... THREE) sentences. Some writers fudged a little, with their punctuation. Others outright ignored the rule (or, like me, didn't scan that part of the rules section).
I was a bit concerned at the pull to the dark side early in the story, and wondered how the story might turn out. Some did a very creative job of putting the twist into it.
I particularly enjoyed the cannonball dive at the end of the story.
