If you could choose any place (and time period) to live, where (and when) would you choose?
My answer? Easy -Paris in the 1920s.
Ernest Hemingway
Scott Fitzgerald
James Joyce
Pablo Picasso
Ezra Pound
Gertrude Stein
Ford Madox Ford
And on, and on.
Come on!
How could you not want to live in Paris during that time and share your world with all those minds!
Really...how could you not?

Ancient Greece (before the Romans ruined it). Comfortable clothing, clean Mediterranean air, some of the best art and philosophy the world has ever seen...I could like that.
ReplyDeleteIt would be either there or Italy during the Renaissance, but women were still considered Satan's spawn about that time, so I might not have enjoyed it so much :)
